If you dont love him, then leave, obviously, because there's no point in staying. If you do love him make sure all the legal and financial documents relating to your house and belongings and any savings are in your name only, and start to make all decisions yourself. Pay a plumber or whoever to do whatever needs doing, and get on with living your life.
