Would it be disrespectful to wear a burqua?

Its not a religious thing; I'm just so tired of all the gnats here! I eat several of them for breakfast each day and they are always in my eyes, ears and nose too. You can't have a conversation here without swatting constantly. If you're outside, you're swatting the damn gnats. I think a burqua would keep them off of me nicely, but I wouldn't want to be offensive. Before you suggest it, bug spray is useless.
