What is the best way to kill insects on my front porch?

the only solution is to not turn on the light..even if there was a spray that quickly killed them as they came would not stop them from coming to begin with... the bug zapper will just keep a steady supply of air born insect particles and the stench of fried bug on your front porch. maybe trying an "insect light" bulb to see if it reduces your problem.
